We are a group of students involved in livestock showing competitions. We participate in preparing and exhibiting animals such as pigs, cattle, goats, sheep, and rabbits, etc. at county fairs, state shows, and other livestock events. But our show team is much more than ribbons and trophies.
Participation on a show team offers hands-on learning opportunities in:
🐾 Ethical treatment of animals
Members are taught to prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of their animals, practicing humane handling and responsible care.
🎓 Responsible animal ownership
Students take full responsibility for their animals, including feeding, grooming, training, and health monitoring—developing habits of accountability and stewardship.
💪 Character and leadership development
Through hard work, teamwork, and public engagement, members build confidence, communication skills, and leadership qualities that last a lifetime.
FFA Show Teams create well-rounded individuals who understand the value of dedication, compassion, and integrity—on and off the show ring.
Through these experiences, students not only develop technical agricultural skills, but also grow in leadership, teamwork, and confidence, which are central to the mission of the FFA.
